Volunteers and clients came out for the Feed the Children Event on March 15, 2010 in the parking lot of the Cupboard.  We were spared heavy downpours and the event was a success with most of the boxes being distributed that day.  We held a few back for clients that were unable to make the event because of employment but all the boxes were picked up by the end of the week.

Many of our loyal volunteers showed up early to help.  With donated equipment from Deck’s Hardware, it made for easy movement of the skids of food.

Many of the volunteers stayed for the entire event providing set-up and clean-up to ensure the neighborhood was left neat and tidy afterward.

Clients came in cars, with shopping carts and carrying bags.  Many were given rides by volunteers or provided with a drop-off service using the Cupboard van and loyal volunteers.
