The Mattie N. Dixon...

On Tuesday, November 10, 2009  three local chapters of Rotary International presented the Mattie N. Dixon Community Cupboard. Inc. with a generous donation of winter coats for adults and children.

On hand for the presentation was Mattie N. Dixon, Dr. Andrew Johanson and Patty Smith from the Blue Bell Rotary Club, Joan Coleman from the Ambler Rotary Club and Tony Janetta from the North Penn Rotary Club.  The three Rotary Clubs combined their funding to present three hundred winter coats to charities around the area including our own Community Cupboard.

Our families were very appreciative of this donation and all the coats were given out during the months of November and December to families in need.

A big Thank You goes out to the all the members of the Rotary Clubs that participated in this event.
